Our Story

Founded in December 2013, The Marketplace on Locust was established by Ilse Tolles, originally from South Africa, with the help of her daughter, Hannah Ducker, and close friend, Michelle Kohler. What began as a shared vision has grown into a welcoming destination for quality consignment furniture, home décor, seasonal décor, gift stuffers, Fusion™ Mineral Paint, and so much more.

For over a decade, we've been proud to serve the Hendersonville community by offering carefully selected pieces that help make every house feel like home.
